Yes YOU can make a difference in the economy, the environment, and the lives of people in your community and I want to show you how!

The purpose of this project is to network townships all over the United States. We want to help connect small businesses, civic leaders, faith-based helping ministries, “green” advocates, and citizens who are looking for ways to help improve their communities. We want to spotlight people who are taking action to better their world and share their stories to motivate and inspire others to become the change they seek in the world.

Through the use of strategic blogging, video blogging, web promotion, online sales, online affiliate sales,  and more, everyday ordinary citizens can make tremendous strides in boosting much needed economic growth and security for themselves and their home towns and we want to help.

We’re seeking internet reporters and bloggers from small towns across the country who love their communities with enthusiasm and want to promote and celebrate the great things that are happening there with our audience.

Topics we’re looking for:

  • Unique small businesses and the people who operate them
  • Historic preservation projects
  • Community gardens and sustainability projects
  • People helping people – activists, faith based ministries, grassroots, etc.
  • Clean energy projects and businesses

Do you see these in your small town? Do you want to take the lead in bringing these to your town? Then please subscribe to this blog or bookmark it and return often for details of how you can help promote your town and increase internet visibility of the businesses and attractions your town has to offer.

  1. Hi, I’m a senior Industrial Design student at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. I’m currently working on a senior final project about Kudzu. My colleague and I are designing a system utilizing an abundant material (Kudzu) while collaborating with a southern community to create an opportunity to benefit/profit the community. The Kudzu would be harvested and processed into a saleable item. We aren’t sure yet what the output will be from this project. It doesn’t even necessarily need to be an item, we plan to figure it out with the help and interest of the community.

I’m hoping you may be interested in collaborating or know someone who is. I would have emailed you but didn’t know where else to get a hold of you. You can email be back at the email listed below. We look forward to hearing from you!

  2. Trying to finish Lighthouse Library project. Includes Treasure Chest (thrift store – sustaining project) & Grouse Valley Lodge (sustaining project). Hope to build outdoor movie theater. Have 20,000 donated books. Built with volunteer labor – professionals, etc. Everyone got tired. We have all the building material to finsih – but we literally wore out!! We have had 200 volunteers – but everyone has their own lives, etc. Wish we had a crew to come in & help us finish. We are so close. Dexter, KS America. Never got a grant. Everyone said we just didn’t give them the bang for their buck. Most won’t touch us because our town is just too small. I wrote a book & 100% of proceeds go to the library project: Whippoorwill: A Journey Through Loss. It tells about our project & about losing a daughter in a car wreck & the journey through grief & how we dedicate our project as a tribute to her life & to our hometown. This military family is happy to be home. Still hopeful. Thank you.
